Territory Sales Manager Mechanical Surface Characterization

Job Summary The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by developing new customer accounts, managing existing client relationships, and promoting specialized surface characterization instrumentation solutions. This role focuses on identifying sales opportunities, delivering technical presentations, developing proposals, closing business, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The position requires a consultative sales approach, technical knowledge, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities Generate and develop new customer accounts. Manage and maintain existing customer relationships. Identify and qualify sales opportunities. Present technical products and solutions to executives, managers, and technical personnel. Develop and prepare sales proposals. Negotiate and close business opportunities. Conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations. Support customer evaluations and technical discussions. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships. Collaborate with internal teams to support sales objectives. Travel for customer meetings, demonstrations, installations, and business development activities. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and support. Requirements Experience in technical sales preferred. Knowledge of analytical instruments or scientific equipment is beneficial. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships effectively. Strong business development and consultative selling skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
