Job Summary The Center for Children and Families, an interdisciplinary Preeminent center at Florida International University (FIU), has 41 faculty associates, 450+ undergraduates, and 100+ trainees in masters, doctoral, and professional programs who study child and adolescent mental health and are focused on advancing the way we treat child and adolescent mental health disorders. The CCF has a tripartite mission that includes research, education, and service and it operates a renowned, multi-disciplinary clinic where state of the art, evidence-based treatments are offered to children and families that struggle with mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, conduct and behavioral problems, difficulties with academic and social skills, and depression in children and adolescents. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other grant funding to the CCF exceeds $18 million annually. The Center for Children and Families is looking for two 20-40 hour per week Temp Research Coordinators. The Research Coordinators Will: Coordinates day-to-day activities of the project. Works closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) in the implementation of activities associated with research and projects. Perform a variety of functions involved in the collection, complication, documentation, analysis of research data and assures the confidentiality of the data. Recruits research participants and administers intake and follow-up assessments. Manages communication with parents and teachers to complete behavioral ratings. Interprets and implements policies and procedures as they apply to an assigned area. Assists with completion of study reports and treatment recommendations. Responds to quality control queries and attends weekly staff meetings to review ongoing work Travels to local schools to complete classroom observations and meetings. Supervises project staff and monitor project staff performance. Assistant with clinical evaluations and oversight of data collection activities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; OR four (4) years of office or related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Positions under National Forensic Science Technology Center will require Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or military experience.
