Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager (Interim) Location: West Hollywood, CA Compensation: $50–$60/hour (DOE) Schedule: Ideally hybrid (2–3 days per week in office). A remote arrangement may be considered for the right candidate. Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(K) About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Manager to provide leadership during a leave of absence while supporting the company's enterprise-wide NetSuite implementation. This individual will step into a high-volume Accounts Payable environment, oversee daily AP operations, and play a critical role in ensuring a successful transition from SAP to NetSuite. This is not a maintenance-focused position. We're looking for someone who can bring best practices, improve processes, solve operational challenges, and help position the AP function for a successful ERP go-live. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day Accounts Payable function. Supervise and support the AP team (1 AP Clerk), providing guidance on escalated issues. Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and vendor payments. Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen AP processes and internal controls. Serve as the Accounts Payable subject matter expert throughout the NetSuite implementation. Collaborate closely with the ERP implementation team during the SAP to NetSuite migration. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement AP best practices. Assist with testing, validation, and refinement of AP workflows within NetSuite. Maintain smooth day-to-day AP operations while supporting the ERP transition. Required Qualifications Proven leadership experience managing Accounts Payable operations. Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite. Direct experience participating in a NetSuite implementation. Deep understanding of AP best practices, process improvement, and internal controls. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal ramp-up time. Experience partnering with ERP implementation consultants. Demonstrated success improving AP workflows and operational efficiencies. Preferred Qualifications Experience in entertainment, media, film, television, or studio accounting.
