Work Environment

The role is situated in our onsite rehabilitation center, designed specifically to promote a healing and supportive atmosphere. The clinic maintains a manageable caseload of around 7 patients per day, allowing therapists to focus on personalized treatment and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions, including physical evaluations and reviewing medical histories.
• Develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation techniques tailored to individual needs.
• Implement treatment strategies and techniques to enhance patient mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall functional abilities.
• Educate and empower patients, providing guidance on long-term mobility strategies and pain management techniques to prevent recurrence of injuries.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and cohesive patient care.
• Participate in continuous professional development opportunities and team meetings to enhance clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related traumas, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on ensuring each patient receives individualized attention and tailored therapeutic interventions that cater to their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New York State license in Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in the field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) to document and track patient progress.
• Prior exposure to diverse patient populations and complex rehabilitation cases.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
