Our clinic boasts a state-of-the-art 5000 square feet sports medicine facility equipped with the latest technologies to support our patients' rehabilitation. Our dedicated team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) works collaboratively to ensure that every patient receives high-quality care tailored to their individual needs. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering exceptional service without the constraints often found in other healthcare settings.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our vibrant rehabilitation center, which fosters a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals coordinate their efforts to provide optimal patient care. You will join a supportive team dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through expert guidance, compassion, and teamwork. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent routine for both staff and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze patient needs to create personalized care plans that address individual rehabilitation goals.
• Manage an average patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated attention and quality care during each session.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques and interventions to optimize patient recovery.
• Collaborate with patients to develop tailored fitness and wellness programs that enhance their strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Document treatment plans and monitor progress using our EMR software, including WebPT, to ensure complete and organized patient records.
• Educate patients on ongoing care strategies that minimize reliance on medications and explore non-surgical alternatives for pain management.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery process to achieve their functional goals.
• Engage in continuous communication with fellow healthcare professionals to provide a multidimensional approach to patient care.

Our clinic primarily serves orthopedic outpatient clients who are seeking rehabilitation after injuries or surgeries. Patients range in age and condition, from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to individuals regaining movement after surgical interventions. Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist license in New York with no recorded instances of board actions or disciplinary measures.

• Demonstrate proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, enhancing your familiarity with common conditions treated in our clinic.
• Clinical knowledge of various rehabilitation and exercise methodologies to effectively cater to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The physical therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
