Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and administering personalized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs, incorporating techniques to improve muscle function and alleviate pain.
• Evaluating clients' physical abilities through comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic tests to measure muscle, joint, and nerve function.
• Overseeing and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of prescribed therapy protocols.
• Providing instruction on exercises, pain management techniques, and functional mobility to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Evaluating home environments to suggest modifications that enhance the independence of clients while maintaining safety.
• Documenting patient progress and communicating condition updates to physicians and members of the healthcare team.
• Administering treatments that utilize physical agents such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation, as indicated by the treatment plan.
• Preparing and submitting required clinical documentation, including comprehensive evaluations, care plans, and progress reports.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active and in-good-standing licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license.
• Strong decision-making skills and the capability to take responsibility for treatment outcomes.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
