Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' unique needs.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy in one-on-one and group settings.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include adolescents, families, and adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. You will provide a safe and supportive environment, addressing the unique circumstances and needs of each client to enhance their journey toward recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely-related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
\n
• Strong comprehension of legal and ethical standards in the counseling field.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a diverse range of clientele.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team dynamic.

• Familiarity with EMR software and other technology-based tools is essential for managing client information and documentation.
