Why join us? 401(k) with Generous Match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Generous PTO & Paid Holidays Collaborative Work Environment: Partner closely with plant operations and finance leadership in a hands-on, high-impact role Career Growth: Strong opportunity for early-career accountants to grow within manufacturing finance Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Prepare and analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material usage, purchase price, overhead) Support standard cost maintenance and annual cost roll processes Prepare cost-related journal entries and perform account reconciliations during month-end close Assist with inventory accounting, including cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciliations Generate weekly and monthly cost and operational reports for leadership review Partner with operations teams to understand production impacts on cost Support internal and external audits with costing and inventory documentation Perform ad hoc cost analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications – Needed: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience, with exposure to cost accounting preferred Experience or strong background in manufacturing environments and cost accounting principles Basic understanding of inventory accounting and standard costing methodologies Strong background in financial analysis, variance analysis, and reconciliations Proven ability to analyze financial data and support operational decision-making Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently with attention to detail Interested in hearing more?
