Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of diverse clients, including individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, to evaluate their mental and emotional health.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client needs, integrating various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive treatment efforts, contributing to case rounds and maintaining thorough documentation of client progress and interventions.

• Oversee case management for assigned patients, coordinating care with community resources, hospitals, and other professionals to deliver the highest level of support.

• Provide timely and ethical documentation of services rendered following departmental procedures and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will encompass a diverse range of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various backgrounds. The outpatient focus allows you to work with clients in a supportive and structured environment, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your interventions will be vital in guiding clients towards their personal goals of improved mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Candidates must possess a valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a counseling or mental health setting is required.

• Willingness to work between 5 and 40 hours (or more) per week to accommodate various client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient therapy settings will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. Familiarity with evidence-based interventions, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a strong foundation in case management practices will be beneficial.
