Adjunct Instructor – Geography (Fall 2026) Department: History, Philosophy and Social Sciences. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree in Geography from an accredited college or university or a related discipline with 12 earned graduate credits in geography. Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States; appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check. HVCC does not sponsor visas. Availability to teach in person classes on campus during the daytime. Must be able to teach at both the HVCC and Malta campuses. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching Human Geography courses at the college level. Experience with learning management systems (Brightspace D2L). Duties and Responsibilities Provide instruction in appropriate courses. Evaluate student performance. At the direction of the Department Chairperson, perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract. Compensation The salary is $1,523.00 per contact hour.
