University Ticketing Manager

Job Overview Reporting to the Scheduling Director, the University Ticketing Manager will manage all aspects of ticket operations for non‑Athletic events at the George Washington University. This includes ticket fulfillment, customer service, box office operations, and sales reporting. The role requires a highly organized and detail‑oriented individual with a passion for improving ticketing efficiencies and experiences for events at the University. Responsibilities Responsible for events through the entire ticketing process Manage daily ticket sales, deposits and reconciliation, and prepare reports and financial settlements Act as point of contact for all ticket‑related questions and box office inquiries Assist in the development of ticket policies and procedures across venues Collaborate with Athletics on ticketing policies and procedures Develop full knowledge of the Ticketmaster system Attend events in all venues as needed Collaborate with staff and clients/promoters for all ticketed event needs Stay knowledgeable of current industry standards and trends Performs other work‑related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 6 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 4 years of relevant professional experience. The degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
