Assistant Project Manager

Summary We are currently representing a well-established commercial contractor seeking a motivatedAssistant Project Manager to support project execution across a wide range of construction projects in Los Angeles and Orange County. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a desire to grow into a Project Manager role. You will work closely with the PM, Superintendent, and project teams from preconstruction through closeout while gaining hands‑on experience across multiple disciplines. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers with contract administration, budgeting, and scheduling Coordinate submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders across all phases of construction Assist with bid analysis, subcontractor procurement, and purchase orders Help maintain and update project schedules in collaboration with field teams Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, status reports, and tracking logs Communicate with architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors regarding project requirements Contribute to project documentation, closeout packages, and warranty tracking Ensure adherence to safety standards, project specifications, and quality expectations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred 2–5 years of experience in a construction project support role Familiarity with construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities Eagerness to grow into a leadership role within the project management team Compensation + Benefits Competitive salary based on experience 100% employer-paid medical insurance premiums 401(k) with company match Three weeks of paid vacation per year Paid holidays and sick leave Ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr RIMEPRO INC
