Government Contracts Associate Attorney - D.C. or San Francisco Office

GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (D.C. or San Francisco Office) Rogers Joseph O’Donnell, P.C. is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of litigation experience to support its Government Contracts Practice Group in Washington, D.C. or San Francisco. Candidates should have experience litigating bid protests, claims and performance disputes, terminations for default or convenience, and a strong background in regulatory compliance advice, False Claims Act issues, organizational conflicts of interest, procurement integrity, and ethics. Qualifications 3-5 years of litigation experience Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, or California Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent writing, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range: $195,000 to $210,000 per year. The firm pays the entirety of an associate’s health and dental insurance premiums and 30 % of dependents’ premiums. Associates are expected to complete a minimum of 1,800 billable hours per year and 200 non‑billable hours. Approved pro‑bono work up to 100 hours and approved diversity, equity, and inclusion work up to 25 hours count toward the billable target. Bonuses Tier 1 – 1,900 Total Billable Hours: 10 % of base salary Tier 2 – 2,000 Total Billable Hours: 25 % of base salary Tier 3 – 2,100 Total Billable Hours: 45 % of base salary In addition to hours‑based bonuses, associates are eligible for merit‑based bonuses each year based on client results, contributions to the firm, and business development.
