The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Caledonia that are seeking skilled Setup Technicians. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and install manufacturing equipment and machinery according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production setups.
- Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize equipment functionality.
- Document setup procedures, maintenance activities, and equipment modifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with various hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting
- IPC-7711/21 certification
- Familiarity with various manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Experience with vision systems or robotics
