Salary Range: $48,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Caledonia that are seeking Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished goods.
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections according to specifications.
• Collaborate with production to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related manufacturing role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Demonstrated ability to use various precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformances.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQI, CQT).
• Ability to interpret and apply GD&T principles.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using statistical process control (SPC) software.
