\nHybrid, NY based (option for in-office NY working or fully remote)
\n$160k - $190k + equity
\n \nTalentedge are proud to be exclusively partnering with a category-defining AI scaleup as they move towards IPO-readiness.
\n \nIn what is a newly created opportunity owing to explosive growth (both from a new product perspective + geographical coverage), we're looking for a technically strong accountant with an exceptional grounding in ASC 606 who is an established business partner cross-functionally, with a particular focus on Product & Engineering, Sales, Legal and FP&A.
\n \nIf you’re looking for an opportunity to work with the smartest people in the industry on a daily basis, whilst being one of the founding members of the US accounting function – This is for you!
\n \nKey responsibilities to include:
\n- \n
- Own the monthly revenue close process \n
- Act as the revenue SME, working closely with Sales & Legal functions by providing ASC 606 guidance on customer contracts \n
- Partner closely with Product & Engineering around new product launches from a revenue accounting perspective \n
- Prepare revenue workpapers \n
- Continue to improve and automate revenue processes, utilising AI at every opportunity \n
Candidate profile:
\n- \n
- Active CPA (Strong preference for Big 4) \n
- Significant experience on partnering with Commercial / Sales / Legal teams on new and renewal contract reviews \n
- Hyper-growth late stage scaleup experience (preferably pre-IPO) \n
- Strong ASC 606 grounding \n
- SaaS and usage/consumption-based revenue models \n
- Experienced with building automation-first processes and controls \n
- Established and credible business partner who is able to advise, challenge and influence \n
- Ability to work autonomously and independently \n
