Dietary Supervisor Facility: The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing Position: Dietary Supervisor Location: Southampton, NY Schedule: Full Time | 5:00 AM–1:00 PM and 12:00 PM–8:00 PM Pay: $25.50 per hour Join Our Team! The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner. The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on leader with experience in food service, preferably within a nursing home or healthcare setting. Responsibilities Supervise daily food production, quality, portion control, and meal service. Ensure meals are prepared and served according to schedule and established standards. Oversee tray-line operations and ensure accurate, timely meal delivery. Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and state and federal regulations. Monitor staff workflow and provide training and direction to dietary employees. Assist with menu adjustments, dietary practices, and kitchen procedures. Ensure proper food preparation, handling, storage, and temperature control. Complete daily shift logs, sanitation checklists, temperature logs, and required documentation. Promote an efficient, clean, and positive kitchen environment. Perform other supervisory and kitchen leadership duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 1 year of food service or supervisory experience. Nursing home or healthcare food service experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Food Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of food sanitation, large-scale food preparation, portion control, and food safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and families. Basic computer skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
