The Opportunity

Piedmont Driving Club is seeking a Sous Chef for the Park Room (PM) in our main clubhouse. In this role, you will serve as a key leader within our la carte culinary team, preparing elegant, upscale, and exceptional meals for our members. You have a passion for great food and take pride in upholding the club's high standards while consistently exceeding expectations. As a leader, you will supervise and support your team, ensuring a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment. You will guide kitchen staff in following recipes and procedures, maintaining the highest levels of quality, consistency, and timeliness in every dish served.

What You'll Do

• Prepare items according to standard recipes
• Ensure safety and compliance in the kitchen to ensure safe, sanitary food-handling practices
• Manages food production including menu writing and development, ordering, costing, recipe creation, execution, and employee supervision for all Park Room kitchen staff

What You'll Earn

• Wage: $60,000 to $65,000

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in kitchen preparation and professional cooking
• 2+ years of experience in a restaurant kitchen supervisory/management position
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
• Two-year or four-year degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program
