Job Title: Float Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: Not specified Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: 2 years of PCU experience required License: Florida/Compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Flexibility to float to sister campuses Description: 2 years of PCU experience required. ED experience is not required. Nurse to patient ratio is 4 to 6:1, depending on patient mix. Adult and geriatric populations will be cared for. Experience with EMR: Epic is preferred. Nurse must be flexible to float as required. Travelers are expected to float to sister campuses as necessary. Culture is very important in this environment. Travelers are welcomed into the units and are expected to function as core staff. All demographic information must be accurately provided for application processing. Hard document deadline is prior to start, with no exceptions allowed for pending documents.
