Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess, diagnose, and develop therapeutic relationships with clients suffering from significant mental health challenges.

• Participate actively as a team member to help achieve shared objectives and enhance service delivery.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to conduct brief screenings and facilitate thorough assessments, recommending additional services as appropriate.

• Manage a caseload which includes conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring a safe environment for all involved.

• Monitor treatment progress and collaborate in the evaluation of ongoing service needs, including admission, continued stay, and discharge criteria.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation and reports, facilitating effective data submissions.

• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the agency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with clients in a detox environment who are facing a combination of substance use issues and mental health disorders. This involves understanding the complexities of both psychological conditions and substance dependency, fostering a holistic approach to treatment. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
