Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, supporting students’ communication growth throughout the academic year. This full-time onsite position offers the chance to collaborate closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, delivering impactful direct services to groups of elementary or secondary students.

Responsibilities will include providing speech and language support to a caseload of approximately 70–85 students, working primarily in group settings. As an integral partner in the academic and social development of your students, you’ll help implement individualized plans, maintain documentation, and foster a positive learning environment. Your daily hours will align with the campus assignment—7:30-3:30 if serving elementary students or 8:00-4:00 for those working with secondary populations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Texas SLPA license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
• Proven experience or familiarity providing speech-language services in educational settings preferred
• Comfortable delivering therapy to groups under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to maintain accurate records and track student progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out direct speech-language interventions for assigned students as directed by supervising SLP
• Assist with preparation of instructional materials and implementation of therapy plans
• Document services and student progress routinely
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and the supervising SLP
• Support the facilitation of group sessions and routine screening activities
