Senior Accountant

We are currently partnered with a high growth publicly traded aviation services client who is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their technical accounting experience while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll play a key part in the monthly close process, revenue recognition under ASC 606, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams, support audits, and contribute to process improvements as the company continues to grow. Responsibilities for Senior Accountant in Denver, CO: Manage revenue recognition for service and equipment revenue in accordance with ASC 606. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity. Support the month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring deadlines are met. Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal control requirements. Support the month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring deadlines are met. Provide guidance and support to junior accounting team members as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities CPA or CPA-track candidates are encouraged to apply.
