Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Kaiser Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing tailored physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability and enhancing the functional abilities of our clients.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels through diagnostic assessments assessing muscle, nerve, joint, and overall functional capabilities.
• Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective and appropriate delivery of care in adherence to the prescribed treatment plans.
• Administering various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercises, and functional activities, to aid in pain relief and physical rehabilitation.
• Evaluating clients' home environments to recommend modifications that promote independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, including progress notes, evaluations, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, participating in case conferences, and contributing to the comprehensive care planning and evaluation process for each client.
• Providing education to clients and families regarding therapy techniques and equipment use to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Completing timely documentation and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with the company's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Florida, in good standing.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in physical therapy, preferably in acute care or home care settings.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on patient engagement.

Preferred Experience
