Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine individual needs and goals.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's medical history and rehabilitation objectives.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for various patient specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and preventative strategies.
• Maintain meticulous patient documentation, tracking progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute to overall operational objectives of the rehabilitation center.
• Promote a positive patient experience through excellent customer service and by fostering a supportive relationship.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and use of electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a clinical setting, particularly in areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, or sports medicine. A demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with patients while working alongside a multidisciplinary team is crucial for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time physical therapist position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
