Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, postoperative cases, and various sports injuries to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and functional goals, ensuring adherence to best clinical practices.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training strategies to facilitate recovery and enhance physical function.
• Educate patients and their families on movement mechanics, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies to encourage active participation in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate effectively with orthopedic physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and facilitate effective communication.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to document progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in orthopedic physical therapy practices to continually enhance service delivery and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with an elderly patient population as well as individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic conditions. Your expertise will not only help restore physical capabilities but also contribute to improving the overall quality of life for our patients, enabling them to regain independence and mobility.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of experience in clinical physical therapy practice is necessary.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated capability to create and execute individualized treatment plans that promote patient recovery and engagement.
• Genuine passion for helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and improved quality of life.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an Assisted Living Facility or similar setting is highly valued, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with managing a diverse patient caseload, particularly among elderly individuals.

Compensation and Benefits
