Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to identify their needs and develop tailored treatment programs.
• Implementing and adjusting treatment plans that leverage evidence-based practices to enhance patient recovery and functional mobility.
• Delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine concerns.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service by building rapport with patients and delivering education to them and their caregivers.
• Achieving minimum utilization goals and contributing to the overall effectiveness of clinic operations.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes through a team-based approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will predominantly involve treating individuals who are navigating a variety of conditions, from young athletes with sports injuries to elderly patients recovering from surgeries. Recognizing the unique circumstances and recovery trajectories of each patient, you will be empowered to develop engaging and dynamic treatment plans that inspire and motivate them throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient communication skills, enabling you to effectively inform and motivate patients.
• Competency in computer systems and word processing to document patient care and maintain records.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in physical therapy will be given preference, especially those who have hands-on experience implementing varied treatment strategies across diverse patient groups.
