Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will have a wide range of responsibilities that include:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of each client's physical condition and functional capabilities.
• Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to the treatment plans and maintaining quality of care.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments using diagnostic tools to evaluate muscle, nerve, and joint functions.
• Assessing the patient's home environment to recommend modifications that promote safety and independence.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, including manual techniques and modalities such as traction and massage.
• Evaluating and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices in collaboration with physicians.
• Documenting patient progress, preparing clinical records, and participating in case conferences to facilitate holistic treatment planning.
• Educating clients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and the use of therapeutic devices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients are adults and seniors facing various physical challenges due to injuries, surgeries, or chronic health conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals who require specialized care, ensuring their rehabilitation goals are met and promoting their independence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in good standing in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a minimum of two years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in acute care or home care settings. Experience in developing care plans and engaging with patients in their home environments is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
