Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in the rehabilitation facility and create detailed treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise programs, hands-on therapy, and adaptive equipment, to alleviate pain and improve patients' movement capabilities.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients, their families, and caregivers about therapeutic exercises, safety protocols, and the use of assistive devices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, to enhance patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices through continuing education and active participation in professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes children and adults recovering from a range of conditions such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory to practice in Florida.

• Proficient computer skills for documentation and tracking patient progress.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
