Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in an outpatient setting, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the therapy process.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans for assigned patients, based on comprehensive assessments and established physical therapy protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations that entail reviewing patient histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting findings to inform treatment decisions.
• Manage the entire patient journey, from initial evaluation to discharge planning, including timely documentation of progress notes, goals, and discharge evaluations to maintain a clear record of patient care.
• Stay compliant with all regulatory standards by completing all mandatory training and adhering to corporate policies and practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and team members, maintaining open and respectful communication to optimize patient outcomes.
• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development initiatives as directed by leadership, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with diverse orthopedic populations, including post-surgical patients, individuals with longstanding musculoskeletal issues, and those recovering from sports injuries. Your expertise will be crucial in creating personalized rehabilitation plans that consider each patient's unique needs, goals, and clinical history, thereby enhancing their recovery journey and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), and a strong commitment to patient-centered care will be particularly valued. Compensation and Benefits
