Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to examine patients with functional limitations and disabilities, developing tailored treatment plans that foster recovery and enhance mobility.
• Stay informed about state practice acts and comply with regulations governing physical therapy practices and supervision.
• Perform initial evaluations by reviewing historical health data, conducting specific assessments, and providing clear recommendations supported by well-documented results.
• Implement treatment protocols adeptly based on evaluation findings and the patient's needs, using a compassionate approach to foster trust and cooperation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary, recognizing and documenting any changes in a patient's condition that may require modifications to the care plan.
• Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring patients leave with comprehensive follow-up care instructions and a clear understanding of their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate patient care activity documentation—this includes initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and eventual discharge evaluations.
• Participate actively in all training sessions and meetings, ensuring compliance with corporate and clinical service standards.
• Deliver exemplary treatment on a daily basis, ensuring quality care that maximizes departmental productivity and patient outcomes.
• Engage in initiatives aimed at increasing accessibility to rehabilitation services in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will treat at Mobility Works span a wide range of demographics and backgrounds, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a proven track record of effective patient outcomes.
• Current CPR certification, reflecting your commitment to patient safety.
