Work Environment

This role is primarily focused on delivering therapy services within clients' homes in Cape Coral and surrounding areas. You will operate in diverse settings and adapt to various home environments, ensuring that therapy is tailored not only to the individual's needs but also to the physical limitations and resources of the home. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations of the client's physical capabilities and needs.
• Conduct in-depth assessments using diagnostic techniques to evaluate clients' physical functions and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage and oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure compliance with care plans and quality of service delivery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescriptions to alleviate pain and enhance strength and mobility.
• Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, including the client's physician and case manager.
• Document clinical findings, treatment progress, and changes in client conditions accurately and promptly, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
• Educate clients and their families on the management and care of treatment devices, therapeutic exercises, and the overall rehabilitation process.
• Participate actively in the development and revision of the care plan during team meetings, contributing insights based on clinical observations.
• Evaluate and recommend adaptations to the home environment to promote client independence and facilitate ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients typically include individuals recovering from surgery, injury rehabilitation, or chronic conditions that impair mobility and functional abilities. This role focuses on a diverse clientele, from elderly patients requiring geriatric rehabilitation to young adults needing sports rehabilitation services. Your ability to build relationships and engage effectively with clients and their families will be crucial for their success in therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• One (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in home care or acute care settings.
• Current licensure to practice Physical Therapy in Florida, in good standing.
• Certification in CPR.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to engage and support patients and their families.
• A proactive attitude towards lifelong learning and a passion for clinical excellence.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing treatment plans and utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Background in community health or rehabilitation is a plus, as is familiarity with federal and state regulations governing home health therapy services.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, contributing to discussions regarding comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
