Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to enhance the mobility, strength, and functionality of patients with various conditions.
• Guide patients through a series of therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities that focus on pain relief and physical well-being, providing necessary modifications based on their progress.
• Educate patients on the importance of proper body mechanics, home exercise techniques, and overall health practices to facilitate their rehabilitation journey.
• Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, closely monitoring patients' responses to therapy.
• Assist with documenting patient progress and outcomes, tracking parametric improvements such as range of motion and strength gains.
• Maintain an organized and efficient treatment space, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly prepared for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to create and optimize comprehensive care plans for our patients.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement, fostering a motivating environment that empowers patients during their rehabilitation.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards in practice, ensuring patient confidentiality is strictly maintained.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist at ProActive Physical Therapy will interact with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, seniors navigating mobility challenges, and children requiring specialized rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
