Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving mobility, strengthening physical capability, and enhancing overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, adjusting techniques and methods to maximize effectiveness and comfort.
• Educate patients on body mechanics, exercise principles, and home exercise programs to promote self-management during the recovery process.
• Administer evidence-based modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy, and heat/cold applications, to facilitate healing.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, noting improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional independence.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain organizational standards for equipment and therapy supplies, ensuring efficient operations during patient sessions.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care, share insights, and optimize patient recovery outcomes.
• Offer emotional support and motivation to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages engagement in their rehabilitation journey.
• Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for individual rights within all interactions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
