Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by reviewing medical history and performing specific evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions based on evaluated findings, ensuring the treatment is tailored to meet each patient's unique needs and adapting as necessary based on their progress.

• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly, including detailed evaluation reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries that adhere to regulatory requirements and enhance continuity of care.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to troubleshoot patient care challenges and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Maintain compliance with all corporate and clinical services training, state, and federal regulations to ensure the highest standards of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities through continuing education and training seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Swift Therapy Center, you will work primarily with an orthopedic patient population seeking rehabilitation for injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. By employing advanced treatment protocols, you will help patients regain mobility, strength, and function, empowering them to return to their daily activities and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida, with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

• Current certification in CPR for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, providing therapy to sports injuries and post-operative patients.

Compensation and Benefits
