Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans based on these evaluations.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress according to physician plans, modifying treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers about therapeutic exercises and home care plans to promote effective recovery.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, contributing to the overall effectiveness of patient care protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with a wider healthcare team to align on treatment philosophies and enhance patient experiences.
• Ensure compliance with all professional standards, including meeting utilization goals and business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with orthopedic patients, as well as individuals with pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions. You will encounter diverse cases that require tailored interventions and a deep understanding of each patient's unique challenges. Building strong rapport with patients is crucial, enabling you to help them surpass their functional goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by proficiency in computer systems for documentation and scheduling.
• Proven ability to foster trust-based relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitative setting, particularly with orthopedic injuries and conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, with performance-based incentives.
