Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Impact Physical Therapy, you will work in a dynamic rehabilitation facility that emphasizes a patient-first approach. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify the patient's unique goals, challenges, and healthcare needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize effective, evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Administer hands-on treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Create and lead fitness and wellness programs tailored to address specific patient goals, promoting a proactive approach to rehabilitation.
• Motivate and inspire patients during their treatment sessions, helping them to achieve their desired outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and retaining open communication with patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on managing patients with orthopedic issues, particularly those recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You'll engage with a diverse range of patients, from young athletes to elderly individuals, each with unique requirements that your skillset will address through personalized treatment methodologies.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong foundational knowledge in musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Impact Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses. Other benefits include:
