Work Environment

This full-time position will take place onsite, primarily in the comfort of our patients' homes. Our approach enables you to witness firsthand the impact of your care in a familiar and supportive setting. With a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, our physical therapists maintain a healthy work-life balance while effectively managing their patient caseloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the therapy objectives and requirements of individual patients, ensuring personalized care plans.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one patient per hour, allowing for focused, quality treatment sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to provide evidence-based therapy interventions.
• Administer targeted therapies that promote rehabilitation while enhancing patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Reduce reliance on pharmacological interventions by proposing non-surgical treatment options.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques customized for each patient.
• Create tailored exercise and wellness programs that meet the unique needs of every client.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while documenting treatment outcomes and progress accurately.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery process to achieve optimal functionality and support their rehabilitation goals.
• Foster a healthy lifestyle by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through innovative therapeutic practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals for holistic patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, document progress, and maintain clear communication with patients and the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients receiving home care services in the Cape Coral area, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to those managing chronic conditions, such as arthritis or neurological disorders. You will work closely with patients of various age groups, providing individualized care and adapting treatment plans to accommodate their specific medical histories and personal goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, a Master's (MPT), or a Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy.
• Active Florida state license for practicing as a Physical Therapist.
• Clear record, with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, essential for effective patient treatment.
• Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive exercise programs for diverse patient populations.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience in outpatient settings, specifically in orthopedics.
• Familiarity and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, such as WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
