Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations following injury, disease, or surgery.
• Design customized treatment plans that address patient-specific goals and therapeutic needs, utilizing a variety of techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and modern rehabilitation equipment.
• Implement treatment sessions and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on exercises, assistive devices, and effective self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care and enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on providing in-home care, allowing you to work closely with a diverse patient population that includes clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, chronic pain, and more. Your direct engagement will be pivotal in helping these individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain their independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution;
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation;
• Proficiency in computer skills for electronic medical recordkeeping and treatment documentation.
• Current CPR Certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two (2) years of clinical experience in physical therapy, ideally within a home care setting, though recent graduates with strong clinical rotations may also be considered. Experience with patient education and the use of modern assistive technologies is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
