Work Environment

Your role as a Physical Therapist will be performed onsite, interacting with patients in their homes to offer convenient and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation interventions.
• Manage a patient caseload, aiming for one-on-one sessions per hour, to ensure personalized attention and effective treatment outcomes.
• Conduct interventions to promote patient mobility and overall health, employing cost-effective approaches that minimize reliance on medications and surgical options.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effects and modify plans based on patient progress, maintaining open communication with patients and their families throughout the process.
• Document all services rendered and maintain accurate records to comply with organizational standards and facilitate continuity of care.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation, encouraging adherence to assigned activities and lifestyle modifications.
• Stay informed of current industry practices by collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

The primary patient population consists of individuals undergoing recovery and rehabilitation from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical patients, those with sports injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (DPT preferred) from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• No disciplinary actions against license; adherence to ethical standards is essential.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in the development of effective exercise routines for various conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, with the ability to utilize them efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in home care settings and expertise in orthopedic assessment and intervention techniques will enhance the effectiveness in this role. Specialized certifications in manual therapy or evidence-based practice methodologies are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers an annual salary between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience.
