Fit Movement Physical Therapy & Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Cape Coral, Florida. Positioned in Cape Coral, our facility spans over 5,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge sports medicine technology. Our team, consisting of skilled physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, collaborates to provide exceptional, patient-centered care. We primarily cater to individuals with private medical insurance, prioritizing evidence-based practices to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Work Environment

As an onsite rehabilitation facility in Cape Coral, our practice thrives in a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and the exchange of ideas among healthcare professionals. The work schedule operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a consistent routine while enabling a work-life balance. Each therapist manages a structured caseload, allowing personal attention to each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and understand patients' rehabilitation goals and physical challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that aim to improve range of motion, strength, and mobility within a one-on-one treatment framework.
• Implement effective rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities appropriate for orthopedic conditions.
• Educate and motivate patients on exercises and lifestyle modifications to promote wellness and recovery.
• Monitor and document progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans and strategies based on patient response.
• Foster strong relationships with patients, actively involving them in their rehabilitation journey to inspire commitment and positive outcomes.
• Maintain open lines of communication with team members and collaborate with other healthcare providers for comprehensive patient care.
• Emphasize preventative care practices to reduce the risk of future injuries, ensuring ongoing patient health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on a holistic approach to treatment, emphasizing both physical rehabilitation and education. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida physical therapist license is required, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Demonstrated absence of any disciplinary actions or infractions related to professional licensure.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to develop and execute individualized exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software for effective documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and educational background.
