The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Cape Coral. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical conditions and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient requirements, using evidence-based practices to enhance recovery.
• Provide therapeutic interventions across various specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine, thereby broadening your clinical experience.
• Educate and collaborate with patients and their families, offering guidance on rehabilitation processes, techniques, and home exercise programs.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the rehabilitation program.
• Attend professional development workshops and meetings to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult and pediatric patients who are recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• A Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist is required, candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred. Experience in a rehabilitation setting and familiarity with evidence-based practices will also be beneficial. Current CPR certification is a mandatory requirement to guarantee patient safety.
