Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our Outpatient Office in beautiful Cape Coral, Florida. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming and therapeutic atmosphere, with resources and tools readily available to our therapists. Our team enjoys a flexible work schedule allowing them to manage their work-life balance effectively while delivering high-quality care to our patients. You will have the ability to choose your hours during our operational days, which span Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in a home care or outpatient setting, determining the best course of therapeutic action.
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing advanced techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implement rehabilitation programs tailored to the individual needs of patients, monitoring their progress and adjusting the plan as needed to meet therapeutic goals.
• Document all treatment procedures, patient responses, and progress in electronic medical records systems to ensure thorough communication with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on self-management strategies, including the use of assistive devices and therapeutic techniques to promote independence.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through training sessions, workshops, and industry literature to remain current with best practices in physical therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and improve patient treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and general computer proficiency.
• Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of patients with different diagnoses.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn; prior experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits
