Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Cape Coral, Florida. The work schedule is set for Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent routine that fosters a positive work-life balance for our team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapeutic care by accurately assessing each patient's unique goals and needs.
• Maintain a reasonable patient caseload, ensuring that every patient receives dedicated attention and high-quality treatment.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, leveraging your experience as a Physical Therapist to promote effective recovery.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that utilize cost-effective and efficient therapeutic techniques.
• Encourage patients to consider non-surgical alternatives, thereby minimizing reliance on medication where possible.
• Integrate various treatment modalities into care plans, including manual therapy techniques and exercise programming.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation using EMR systems, ensuring thorough records of all services provided.
• Actively motivate patients and promote healthy lifestyle choices through physical activity and wellness programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals with chronic pain, and those seeking rehabilitation post-surgery. Our clients range in age and athletic background, and each brings unique challenges that you will address with personalized care to help them recover to their fullest potential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• An active and unimpaired Physical Therapist license in Florida with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven expertise and proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques.
• Strong capacity for designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly Web PT, for precise and efficient documentation.
• Current understanding of the latest physical therapy methods and practices supported by empirical research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in sports medicine or rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and a commitment to evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, depending on your qualifications and level of experience.
