Territory Account Manager - Raleigh, NC

Position Overview ViiV Healthcare is seeking an experienced Territory Account Manager (TAM) for its long‑acting HIV Injectable Treatment Sales team. The role focuses on building new business with healthcare professionals, executing sales plans, and collaborating across functions in a launch environment. Responsibilities Deliver results through exceptional sales and service. Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt a new HIV treatment approach. Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges within target accounts. Leverage data analytics and market expertise to identify high‑priority prospects. Prepare and execute customized business plans that help HCPs scale their treatment model. Coordinate and partner with cross‑functional team members (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience. Maintain a portfolio‑based selling mindset and close internal communication loops for a cohesive customer experience. Provide proactive customer service by anticipating and addressing HCP needs and requests. Adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs and business problem‑solving techniques. Develop external relationships with key customers and thought leaders. Demonstrate commitment to ViiV’s culture, values, and a values‑based approach. Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment and treat setbacks as learning opportunities. Escalate issues and risks when necessary, speaking up with courage. Adhere to compliance and regulatory guidelines. Basic Qualifications BA/BS degree. 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience. 3+ years of specialty experience. Domestic travel available, including overnight travel. Valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences. Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Experience influencing and collaborating cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Sales success in complex market access coverage situations. Experience managing cold‑chain treatment products with HCPs. Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention markets. Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required). Experience partnering with cross‑functional integrated account teams.
