Pay Rate: $ 1800 To $ 2,054 per week

Schedule: 12-Hour Day Shifts; Typically, 36 Hours per Week

Experience: Minimum 3 Years of Med-Surg Experience and 1 Year of Pediatric Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) Adult / Pediatrics for a 13-week contract opportunity in Fort Defiance, Arizona. The RN will provide nursing care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients in a 20-bed Medical-Surgical Unit.

Responsibilities

Assess, monitor, and provide comprehensive nursing care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric Medical-Surgical patients.
Develop and implement individualized nursing plans of care and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed nursing interventions while maintaining patient safety and infection prevention standards.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in RPMS and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Float to other qualified departments or assist with patient-care activities and immunization clinics when assigned.

Requirements

Minimum 3 Years of Recent Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse Experience and 1 Year of Pediatric Nursing Experience Required.
Current, Active Registered Nurse License Required; Applicable Arizona Practice Requirements Must Be Met Before Start.
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certifications Required.
Current PALS Certification Required.
Must Be Comfortable With Adult and Pediatric Patients and Available for 12-Hour Day Shifts, Flexible Nights, Weekends, Holidays, and Up to 1 On-Call Shift Per Week.

This contract opportunity is well suited for an experienced Med-Surg RN with strong adult and pediatric nursing skills who is comfortable working in a flexible acute-care environment.
