You will greet visitors, verify credentials, and support daily operations through clear communication and customer service. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.20 / Hour Job Schedule Day / Time: Mon 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM Thu 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site‑specific access control procedures and security‑related policies at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to control access for authorized personnel, vendors, and/or deliveries. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, yard, dock areas, trailer lots, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Document security‑related incidents, visitor activity, and/or access control issues, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 2 years of security‑related experience is required. Applicants must be 21+ years of age. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
