Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and diagnostics to create individualized treatment plans that align with client needs and goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy for individuals, couples, and groups.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and thorough record-keeping.

• Engage in regular consultation with multidisciplinary teams and participate in case reviews to deliver holistic and effective client care.

• Take part in workshops, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities to stay informed on current trends in mental health and counseling practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, many of whom may face barriers to accessing traditional mental health care. Clients frequently present a myriad of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Your role will be essential in providing these individuals with the skills, insights, and tools they need to navigate their unique mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted professional license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, with hands-on experience in a therapeutic setting preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and ability to build a caseload.
