Position Title Intervention Services Tutor / Noon Supervisor Work Schedule Noon Supervisor: 2 hours per day, 172 days per year Intervention Services Tutor: 2.75 hours per day, 135 days per year Start/End times: 9:55 AM – 3:10 PM Start date: September 2, 2025 (required training August 25, 2025) Responsibilities Serve as a Noon Supervisor, ensuring the safety and emotional well‑being of all students, supervising play, cafeteria, and classroom activities, and implementing discipline plans as needed. Serve as an Intervention Services Tutor, providing group tutorials, supervising student work, and enhancing learning of basic elementary school curriculum. Assist students in developing basic academic skills. Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality expected of licensed teachers. Collaborate with principal, teachers, and staff to support student performance and behavior. Qualifications – Tutor (Intervention Services) Minimum of an AA college degree or 60 college credits, or successful completion of the Para Pro test or Para Educator Assessment. Training or experience working with children in group tutorial and supervisory settings. Interpersonal skills conducive to positive relationships with students and adults. Capable of assisting students in learning basic elementary curriculum. High ethical behavior and confidentiality consistent with licensed teachers. Qualifications – Noon Supervisor High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for 20 to 30 minutes. Responsible for the physical safety and emotional behavior of an entire grade level while supervising students on the playground, cafeteria and classroom. Implement discipline plans when necessary. Salary and Position Classification Per the LEAF contract: Noon Supervisor is classified as A‑1‑1, with a starting salary of $16.25 to $19.66 per hour depending on experience. Tutor positions are classified as B‑2‑1, with a starting salary of $19.85 to $24.05 per hour depending on experience. Benefits Paid vacation, personal, and sick leave. 12 paid holidays each year.
