Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Experienced Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant Join the Team at Cheek & Falcone, PLLC We are growing and looking for an experienced Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our team. We are committed to providing exceptional legal representation with integrity, professionalism, and genuine care for our clients. What You'll Do As a valued member of our legal team, you will work directly with our attorneys on a diverse caseload, including: Foreclosure matters and real estate transactions for bank clients Collections, including skip tracing, identifying and locating potential defendants, and post-judgment enforcement Matters involving real estate and chattel liens Discovery, document review, pleadings, motion practice, and trial preparation Overall case management including but not limited to docketing/deadline management, filing pleadings in Federal and State Court, and file organization Collaborating with attorneys and staff to ensure exceptional client service Maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and accountability in all aspects of your work Qualifications Required Minimum of three (3) years of substantive litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience Excellent organization with strong attention to detail, exceptional proofreading, spelling, and grammar capabilities Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, work independently and take initiative Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, legal research tools, and case management software Familiarity with court rules, filing procedures, and litigation deadlines Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Preferred Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-approved program, or equivalent professional experience What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package, Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401k matching, paid time off & covered on-site parking A supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for professional growth and long-term career advancement If you're looking for a position where your experience will be valued and your contributions will make a difference, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cheek & Falcone, PLLC
