Physician Liaison / Healthcare Marketing Specialist

BreakThrough Physical Therapy, part of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a relationship-driven Physician Liaison / Healthcare Marketing Specialist to grow provider partnerships and increase patient referrals throughout the Wilmington area.

This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys building relationships, representing a healthcare brand in the community, and turning outreach efforts into measurable referral growth.

Part-Time Schedule: 25 Hours Weekly

Pay Rate: $22-$25/Hour

Responsibilities

What You'll Accomplish

Within your first several months, you will:

• Build productive relationships with physicians, referral coordinators, case managers, hospital systems, and other healthcare partners.
• Develop and execute a territory outreach plan focused on increasing awareness and patient referrals.
• Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing provider offices.
• Coordinate opportunities for physical therapists and clinic leaders to connect with referral sources.
• Track outreach activity, referral trends, and market opportunities to determine what is working and where additional focus is needed.
• Support community events, partnerships, sponsorships, and local marketing initiatives.
• Help clinic leaders create action plans for locations needing additional referral growth.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

12 years of experience in physician liaison work, healthcare marketing, medical sales, provider relations, community outreach, or business development.

Bachelor's degree or relevant clinical or healthcare experience preferred.

Experience using Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.

Familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools is helpful.

Additional Requirements

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to travel throughout the Wilmington territory.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
